Two F-35C Lightning II carrier variants conducted their first arrested landings off the coast of the eastern U.S. on Oct. 2.

The F-35 Lightning II Pax River Integrated Test Force (ITF) is conducting the second phase of F-35C carrier suitability and integration developmental testing (DT-II) aboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69).
