An F-35B Lightning II from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 121 conducts a vertical landing exercise at a Forward Arming and Refueling Point (FARP).

A FARP is a temporary facility that is organized, equipped, and deployed as far forward, or widely dispersed, as tactically feasible to provide fuel and ammunition necessary for the sustainment of aviation maneuver units in combat.
