U.S. Army Infantry Soldiers perform a tactical-movement exercise during exercise Orient Shield 2017 on Camp Fuji, Japan. The annual exercise is designed to enhance U.S. and Japan combat readiness and interoperability at the tactical level while strengthening bilateral relationships and demonstrating U.S. resolve to support the security interests of friends and allies in the region.
