The United States Marines and their Royal Thai Armed Forces counterparts participate in a joint military exercise in Thailand. The exercise, named Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training, or CARAT, is designed to strengthen interoperability and partner-nation capabilities for the planning and execution of military operations, and advance regional security operations in Southeast Asia.

This video shows the participating units conduct amphibious assault drills, patrolling and MOUNT drills, and other bi-lateral trainings in multiple warfare areas over the course of several days.
